Here you will find information on the types of dog training that our facility provides. From specific problem areas like counter surfing, or major problem areas, we got you covered.

In-Kennel Training Program
Our most popular training program. Your canine will board with us for three weeks and learn how to be a Good Doggo. During their three-week stay, they will learn:

How to walk on a leash

Heeling - walking comfortably on a leash on the left side,
-
Recalls - coming when called with an automatic sit in front.

The "Leave-It" command
-
"Off" command - to get the dog off of someone or something

Sits
-
Downs - laying down
-
Sit-stays and down-stays for up to one minute
-
Sit-stays at open doorways
-
Behavior modification for puppy nipping and jumping up on people.
Included with this program is a free bath and nail trim the day they go home, a 'Send-Home' lesson where what has been learned during their stay is showcased to you, and where you learn how to give the commands and corrections to your canine companion, also included are three follow-up lessons once your pup has finished their board and train at our facility to help strengthen those commands once they have been home.
*Pricing starts at $1,770 but goes up based on age and temperament.
*The dog must be at least 16 weeks old and current on all required vaccinations.

Basic Obedience Group Class
Our second most popular training program. The Basic Obedience class is a 6-week course that is held on Saturday mornings that you and your dog will attend. This class is more of an owner/pet hands-on training class. During the 6-weeks, you and your dog will learn:

Heeling - walking on a leash comfortably on your left side,

Automatic sit at heel position,

Release word,

Position of down,

Recalls - coming when called - at a distance of 6 feet with a sit in front,

Finish - the dog is to return to sit on the left side (heel position),

Teach a Stand for grooms and wiping feet,

One minute sit-stay at a distance of 6 feet

One minute down-stay at a distance of 6 feet

Discuss Housetraining

Behavior modification for jumping and chewing/teething behaviors

Intermediate Obedience Group Class
This training program is another 6-week class that meets on Saturday mornings for the canines that have graduated from the Basic Obedience Group Class and would like to advance further. During the Intermediate Obedience class you and your dog will learn:

Transitioning to off-leash heeling.
-
Increasing distance, time, and distractions for sit and down stays.
-
Increasing distance and distractions for recalls.
-
Developing the Stand Stay.
*Price for the 6-week course is $300 per dog
*The dog must have graduated from the Basic Obedience and must be current on all vaccinations that are required.

Advanced Obedience Group Class
The Advanced Obedience Group Class is for the canines that have graduated from both the Basic and Intermediate Group classes and would like to advance further. In the Advanced Obedience Group Class, you and your dog will learn:

Off-leash heeling with distractions.

Off-leash recalls.
-
Increasing distance and distractions for the Stand Stay.

Out of sight sit and down stays.

Introduction to agility basics.
*Price for this 6-week class is $300 per dog
*The dog must have graduated from the Basic and Intermediate Group Class in order to qualify for the Advanced class.
*The dog must be current on all required vaccinations.

Private Lesson
Private lessons are if your pup is having one or two specific problem areas, or needs help with behavior modification. Some examples of such are counter surfing or jumping up on people. Private lessons are an hour long, where you and your dog learn how to better these problem areas.
*Price for private lessons is $100 / hr.
